Heavy mice deaden quick reflexes. The Cougar AirBlader Extreme Lightweight Gaming Mouse removes that weight completely, arriving at just 62 grams thanks to a one-of-a-kind hollowed-out shell that keeps a light design without sacrificing durability.

The mouse is powered by a PMW3389 optical sensor that tracks with true precision up to 16000 DPI. A 2000Hz polling rate means movements are registered near instantaneously, a real advantage when playing fast paced FPS or MOBA games.

The clicking is also sharp and consistent, too. The Cougar Bounce-On exclusive tension system utilizes a metal spring to eliminate random bounce between the button and the switch, while mechanical micro switches with a 50 million click rating ensure the feel is reliable for years of use. The scroll encoder is equally rugged, rated for 2 million scroll cycles.

Movement is smooth thanks to an ultraflex braided cable that resists drag and 100% virgin-grade PTFE skates for a low friction glide across the mousepad. The compact and ambidextrous form factor is particularly suited for claw grip styles.

The mouse also has three switchable modes for more flexibility on different games and you can also configure six buttons, using Cougar’s UIX software, to custom functions and macros.
