FX51 Scissor Switch Compact Keyboard

Not every feature needs to be loaded to every keyboard. Sometimes you want something thin, quiet and reliable and that is what the FX51 delivers.

Each key sits on a scissor switch mechanism with a tight 1.5mm actuation point. This means there is hardly any wasted movement between a press and a response. The low profile, chocolate style keycaps also give a light typing feel. Obviously whoever thought this up was thinking portability. The USB-C cable detaches completely, so you don’t have to deal with a cord that’s permanently attached and can get tangled or worn down over time. Bag the keyboard, unplug the cable separately, and away you go.

There’s a function row with 12 shortcut keys for the basics. These cover music, volume and a few system controls. You won’t need to dig through menus for simple things.. It also toggles nicely between Windows and Mac layouts and remembers whatever setting you last used.
